Accountable America is offering a $100,000 reward for information that is material to either a criminal conviction for committing a felony or a misdemeanor, or a final and unappealed judicial or administrative determination of civil liability that entails the imposition of fines or penalties of at least $10,000, for a violation of federal campaign finance, tax or other statutes or regulations by an organization that operates or purports to operate under Internal Revenue Code Sections 501(c)(4), 501(c)(6) or 527 and that primarily serves business or ideologically conservative interests.

Accountable America does not solicit and will not accept information as to which there is a statutory or regulatory prohibition against disclosure to Accountable America, or that is acquired by improper or unlawful means, including but not limited to theft, fraud or deception. Qualifying information must not already be in Accountable America’s possession when it is received, and it must not be readily publicly accessible by an Internet search.

Also, in order to be eligible for an award a submitter must submit the information to Accountable America by January 31, 2009. Accountable America will transmit all qualifying information that it receives that credibly indicates the possibility of unlawful activity to one or more appropriate governmental regulatory or law enforcement offices, and will transmit a copy of that submission to the submitter of the information. If the submitter wishes to remain anonymous, Accountable America will use its best efforts to enable such confidentiality if its provision of the information to a governmental office may be accomplished in a manner that preserves such anonymity, but Accountable America specifically disclaims any guarantee that anonymity can or will be preserved in any forum or among the general public.

All decisions by Accountable America as to the eligibility of any individual or organization for receipt of the reward are within Accountable America’s sole discretion. This offer and any distribution of the reward are void where prohibited by law.
