Instapundit - Obama's latest gaffe

A nice summary, with links of reaction to Obama's recent ad, attacking McCain fro not being able to use a computer keyboard....

Obama campaign : Keepin' it Classy!

So now Obama is attacking McCain because he can't "use a computer" ...

Why not? Because, as reported in the Boston Herald, eight bloody years ago, John McCain can't operate a keyboard because of his war injuries:

McCain gets emotional at the mention of military families needing food stamps or veterans lacking health care. The outrage comes from inside: McCain's severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes. Friends marvel at McCain's encyclopedic knowledge of sports. He's an avid fan - Ted Williams is his hero - but he can't raise his arm above his shoulder to throw a baseball.

BTW, notice how the "1982" image of McCain in the video shows his hair kinda messed up? Notice how the quote above mentions that he can't comb his own hair? Class-E, Barack!

The "Experience" Issue, in a Nutshell

If you vote for the GOP, you have to worry that McCain will die too quickly, leaving an inexperienced novice in charge.

If you vote for the Democrats, you have to worry that Obama will stay alive, leaving an inexperienced novice in charge.

Uh, and certainly, in terms of, uh, the legislation that I’ve passed just dealing with this issue post-Katrina, uh, of how we handle emergency management. The fact that, uh, many of my recommendations were adopted and are being put in place, uh, as we speak indicates to extent to which we can provide the kinds of support and good service that the American people expect.

Dirty Tricks? Democrats Release Sarah Palin's Social Security Number

The Politico has received an opposition research file from the Alaska Democrats. You can read it in PDF here.

In the file, the Democrats have released Sarah Palin's social security number minus the last four digits. Also tied to the information are her various home addresses.

Back in 2005, Democrats used Michael Steele's social security number to get his credit record.

It is atrocious that the Democrats would not only seek out Sarah Palin's social security number, but release it in opposition research to the press.

We need to know who did this. We also need to know what happened. We also need to know if it was used to bolster the Democrats' opposition research.

When it happened to Michael Steele, it turns out the Democrats knew about it and did nothing.

They cannot not take action now.

Not sure what he sees as the connection between his campaign and "natural disaster experience".. snicker. It's funny, though that Obama and his people always seem to emphasize earlier jobs (mayor of small town / soccer mom) over later ones (President of Alaska's mayors, Governor). Obama has a difficult row to hoe, decrying Palin's lack of experience while claiming tat his own, similar amount experience is enough. He is, after all, running for First Banana, not Second Banana.
